The II Guadiana Triathlon opens inscriptions

The test has two distances, full and Half and the registration process opens today, January 21

The next 19 October 2019 will be held the second edition of the Guadiana Triathlon, test organized by Byon Sports, where two different races will be held, one long distance (3,8-180-42) and another medium distance (1,9-90-21).

Long Distance Routes 

Swimming: It consists of 3.800 m with departure and arrival at Isla Canela Beach. The triathletes will give two rounds to a circuit of 1900m

Cycling: Circuit of 180 kms, After leaving the T1 the triathletes will head towards Ayamonte, continuing towards Villablanca, San Silvestre and Castillejos, where they will turn towards El Granado. Later they will cross the river Guadiana, to train in Portugal to the town of Mértola and then continue to Alcoutim. At this point the triathletes will continue along the banks of the Guadiana River to Azinhal, where they will cross again to Spain, arriving in Ayamonte and returning to the Isla Canela Beach where the T2 will be located.

Race on foot: It consists of 42 km with start on the seafront of Isla Canela, where the 4 laps will start 10,5 km with end at the Hotel Barceló Isla Canela, the official hotel of the test.

Half Distance Routes:

Swimming: It consists of 1.900 m with departure and arrival at Isla Canela Beach.

Cycling: Round trip 90 kms circuit. The first 45km are identical to the Long Distance route to the town of Castillejos, where the participants of the MD triathlon will take a turn of 180 degrees and return by the same route to the T2 on Isla Canela Beach.
Race on foot: It consists of 21 km with start on the seafront of Isla Canela, where the 2 laps of 10,5 km will start with a finish at the Hotel Barceló Isla Canela, the official hotel of the test. (Same circuit as long distance triathlon)

The test opens today 21 for January registrations for its two distances from the 12: 00.
