On October 19, 2019, the second edition of the Guadiana Triathlon, a test organized by Byon Sports, where two different races will be held, one long-distance (3,8-180-42) and the other medium-distance (1,9-90-21).
Swimming: It consists of 3.800 m with departure and arrival at Isla Canela Beach. Triathletes will make two laps of a 1900m circuit
Cycling: 180 km circuit, After leaving T1 the triathletes will head towards Ayamonte, continuing towards Villablanca, San Silvestre and Castillejos, where they will turn towards El Granado. Later they will cross the Guadiana river, to train in Portugal to the town of Mértola and then continue to Alcoutim. At this point, the triathletes will continue along the banks of the Guadiana river to Azinhal, where they will again cross into Spain, arriving in Ayamonte and returning to Isla Canela Beach where T2 will be located.
Foot race: It consists of 42 km with a start on the seafront of Isla Canela, G where the 4 laps of 10,5 km will start with the end of the Barceló Isla Canela Hotel, the official hotel of the test.
Swimming: It consists of 1.900 m with departure and arrival at Isla Canela Beach.
Cycling: 90 kms round trip circuit. The first 45km are identical to the Long Distance route to the town of Castillejos, where the participants of the MD triathlon will make a 180-degree turn and return by the same route to T2 at Isla Canela Beach.
Foot race: It consists of 21 km with a start on the seafront of Isla Canela, where the 2 laps of 10,5 km will begin, ending at the Barceló Isla Canela Hotel, the official hotel of the test. (Same circuit as the long distance triathlon)
The test opens today 21 for January registrations for its two distances from the 12: 00.
