Gustavo Rodríguez goes down for the Zarautz Triathlon

Not recovered from IRONMAN Brazil

The Galician triathlete Gustavo Rodríguez published yesterday on social networks that will not participate in the Triathlon of Zarautz 2019 to be played on Saturday, where he also defended the title won last year.

In this edition it will once again have a great poster of professionals with the last three winners of the test. You can consult the preview of the  Triathlon of Zarautz 2019

It seems that he is not recovered from his participation in IRONMAN Brazil and has decided not to participate in this test and in other objectives he had planned

On Instagram he published:

"Well it seems that the body does not just recover ... 15 days after the Ironman of Florianopolis, and still follows some emergency sneak on

Aware that every great project requires a series of renunciations and sacrifices ... But I'm not going to cheat you; moments like this make me rethink if the chosen path is season is the right one. I definitely can not be this weekend in @zarauzkotriatloia , and with this there are already many races that I could not and could not be (@triathlonpamplona , #triatlonguadalajara , @riojatriatlon …
-
Now all that's left is to do the homework well so that all these resignations are worthwhile and show my best version in the last classification attempt #roadtokona ?"
