Gustavo Rodríguez goes down for the Zarautz Triathlon

Not recovered from IRONMAN Brazil

The Galician triathlete Gustavo Rodríguez He published yesterday on social networks that he will not participate in the Triathlon of Zarautz 2019 to be played on Saturday, where he also defended the title won last year.

It seems that he has not recovered from his participation in IRONMAN Brazil and has decided not to participate in this test and in other objectives that he had planned.

On Instagram he published:

«Well, it seems that the body has not just recovered ... 15 days after the Florianopolis Ironman, and there is still an emergency sneak on

Aware that every great project requires a series of resignations and sacrifices…. But I am not going to deceive you; moments like this make me rethink whether the chosen path this season is the right one. I definitely won't be able to be in this weekend @zarauzkotriatloia , and with this there are already many races that I could not and could not be (@triathlonpamplona , #triatlonguadalajara , @riojatriatlon ...)
Now it only remains to do the homework well so that all these resignations are worth it and show my best version in the last classification attempt #roadtokona 💪«
