Gustavo Rodríguez will look for his classification for the Kona Ironman World Championship in South Africa.

Gustavo will seek qualification for the Hawaii Ironman World Cup in South Africa IM

Next Sunday, April 07, the most important moment of the sports career for the Galician triathlete will arrive Gustavo Rodríguez, who will seek the qualification for the Hawaii Ironman World Cup.

The Galician triathlete Gustavo Rodriguez, will move next Tuesday to Port Elizabeth to dispute the Ironman of South Africa test in which it intends to certify its classification for Kona 2019.

In South Africa you will meet an Ironman in which you will meet the world's best distance triathletes, the first in the world ranking, which makes this test the hardest venue in the Ironman circuit. Output will be four seats that give access to the Kona World in Hawaii to be held next October, among the objectives to be between the Top 5 and the system of roll down will run square if the first are already classified.

The Galician who started his Kona 2019 project more than a year ago, has taken a long preparation to this appointment and the one that arrives in his "best form of his entire career as a triathlete " but also with "The uncertainty caused by a long distance test, in which a small problem can ruin a whole preparation".

Gustavo Rodríguez knows that his potential will be as always in the bicycle sector, a bicycle that this year has improved even more if it fits with respect to previous years and where he expects his "Giant Trinity gives you a sufficient advantage to run the race on foot with options to qualify".

South Africa will be the second participation of Gustavo in an Ironman, after finishing third in Wales last September and will be his most important date so far, an appointment that should lead to Kona 2019 ceasing to be a project and turn from the next 07 of April into a reality.
