Gwen Jorgensen wins the World Cup in Valencia  

Today was celebrated Triathlon World Cup in the city of Valencia, Spain, where the victory has been for Gwen Jorgensen in the women's event.

The test has been held under the standard distance, which consists of 1,5 km of swimming, 40 km of cycling and 10 km of running.  

In the female category, victory has been for Gwen Jorgensen with a time of 1: 54: 57, followed by Nina Kim (1: 55: 11) and for marlene gomez (1: 55: 22) in third position.

The day started with clouds and clear in Valencia, providing a perfect setting for the competition where a total of 36 triathletes participated. 

The swimming, carried out without neoprene, was led by the Japanese Yuko Takahashi. However, the surprise came from the hand of Gwen Jorgensen, who started 5th just 6 seconds behind the leader.

The cycling segment, made up of 40 km, served as a transition for the exciting running segment.  

Here, Gwen Jorgensen he showed his mastery and experience, leading from the first kilometers and securing his victory with impressive authority.

As for the Spanish Noelia Juan fueled the best with a magnificent fourth position, staying at the gates of the podium.
