Gwen Jorgersen, personal record in 5.000 meters

The American has achieved her best personal brand since she is competing in athletics.

More than 2 years ago, the ITU World and Rio 2016 games champion, Gwen JorgensenHe left the triathlon to try the world of professional athletics.

He started doing in Seattle a 5.000 in 15:54 just 6 months after giving birth to her son, which indicated that she could have a good progression in the distance.

This year, after the operation in 2019, he decided  race back on track over the distances of 5.000 and 10.000 meters and try to get the classification for Tokyo 2020

Two weeks ago, Gwen ran again in Seattle, the same test where I debut in the distance, finishing sixth with a time of 15: 47.20.

And yesterday, he participated in Boston getting his best personal mark in the distance, finishing in fifth position with a time of 15:10:19

The winner in the test was the German Konstanze Klosterhalfen with (14: 30.79) getting the European record. The American women accompanied her on the podium Vanessa Fraser(14: 48.51) and  Emily Infield (14: 51.91). Gwen Fifth with (15: 10.19)

The North American, continues in a great progression and will have to be followed closely in this Olympic year.
