HITACHI organizes a mountain triathlon at the Casa de Campo in Madrid, on the occasion of the Festibike 2013

HITACHI Air Conditioning reinforces its commitment to sport by organizing - together with Last Lap - a mountain triathlon, taking advantage of the celebration of Festbike 2013, the most important fair in the bicycle sector.

 

 

El Hitachi MTB Triathlon it will start the afternoon of Saturday 14 of September a mountain triathlon (PRO and OPEN) in the green zone of the Country House of Madrid. 

 

The proof Hitachi MTB Triathlon It is a pioneering action and with it HITACHI and Last Lap intend to organize one of the reference mountain triathlons in Spain, aimed at professionals as well as at a non-specialized public that is increasingly more fond of triathlon. As a sports reference, dof the star athletes Club X3M of Majadahonda that sponsors HITACHI: Saleta Castro y Álvaro Velázquez they will participate as professional triathletes.

 

El Hitachi MTB Triathlon combines swimming, cycling and running on foot, with the particularity that the tests are conducted in mountainous terrain, the race on foot is done on land and the cycling test is done in the field on mountain bike or mountain bike. He Hitachi MTB Triathlon It is a federated race and is part of the competition program of the Madrid Triathlon Federation and is made up of the X-Mountain Open Competition and the X-Mountain Pro Competition.

Characteristics of the HITACHI MTB Triathlon

-The Hitachi MTB Open Triathlon Competition is composed of the following tests: Swimming (circuit on the lake): 350 m.

Mountain Bike: 10.000 metres.
Race on foot (asphalt circuit): 2.100 metres.

All "finishers" will receive a commemorative medal.

-The Hitachi MTB Triathlon Pro Competition will consist of:

Swimming (circuit on the lake): 750 metres.
Mountain Bike: 20.000 metres.
Race on foot (asphalt circuit): 4.200 metres.

The first three winners of the women's category and the first three winners of the men's category will receive a trophy.
