The impressive story of overcoming Ramón Arroyo is the origin of '100 metros', a film directed by Marcel Barrena and starring Dani Rovira, Karra Elejalde and Alexandra Jiménez.

 

 

 Today the long awaited film 100 meters is released, based on the real story of Ramón Arroyo, triathlete who completed a Challenge Barcelona with multiple sclerosis.

First impressions of the film

Arroyo, who was told by doctors that he would not be able to run 200 meters and ended up completing an 'iroman' - a triathlon consisting of swimming 3,8 kilometers in open water, pedaling 180 kilometers on a bicycle and running a marathon of 42,2 kilometers in less of 17 hours, who was told that he would not be able to run 200 meters

Synopsis: Ramón, a father of a family, lives for work until his body begins to fail. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, all the prognoses seem to indicate that in a year he will not be able to walk 100 meters. Ramón decides to stand up to life by participating in the toughest sporting event on the planet.
