Antonio Serrat and Susana Sevillano win the First Edition of the Ibiza Sprint Triathlon
Ibiza was the luxurious setting for the first edition of the Ibiza Sprint Triathlon, organized by AD Ibiza Half Triathlon.
The sports day, which attracted more than a hundred triathletes, took place in an unbeatable setting, with the Paseo de Figueretes as the epicenter of the action.
Antonio Serrat, unstoppable in Ibiza
The Olympic triathlete Antonio Serrat, who competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, lived up to expectations and took victory in the Ibiza Sprint Triathlon with a time of 52:46.
Second place went to the local triathlete Guillem Tomeu, who was six minutes behind the winner, while third place was taken by the youth and current Balearic aquathlon champion, Marc Vallve.

Susana Sevillano shines among the women
In the women's competition, the Ibizan triathlete Susana Sevillano He won with a time of 1 hour, 5 minutes and 13 seconds, once again demonstrating its experience and quality.

Participation of athletes from other sports
Among the hundred participants who took the start on the beach of Figueretes, the Ibiza Sprint Triathlon was also the platform for the debut of three outstanding Olympic athletes in triathlon: the swimmer Jessica Vall, the cyclist and champion of Tour de France Oscar Pereiro, and the Olympic athlete Reyes Estevez.
They were joined by the well-known Ibizan chef Alvaro Sanz. They all managed to complete the test and highlighted the organization of the event, as well as the encouragement received from the local public, which was a motivating factor for all of them.
