ICAN Triathlon Gandía 2025 opens registrations
El ICAN Triathlon Gandía The registration period is now open for its next edition, which will be held on 18 2025 October.
This event, established as one of the major LD races on the scene, offers triathletes the opportunity to participate in various modalities adapted to different levels of demand.
Registrations open and available modalities
Those interested can register for the distances Full y Half, ensuring their participation in one of the most important events in Spanish triathlon.
In addition, the modalities of Aquabike (MD and LD) and the distance Shorts will open their registrations on May 22, 2025, expanding the options for athletes who wish to join this challenge.

New for the 2025 edition
The ICAN Triathlon Gandía organization has announced several new arrivals for the 2025 edition, with the aim of improving the experience of participants and raising the competitive level of the event.
- Increase in prizes in Medium Distance: Following the line established in previous editions, the prizes will be doubled in the Medium Distance category. In total, 10.500 euros in cash will be distributed between the Full and Half categories, distributed as follows:
- Full distance: €2.000 for first place, €1.000 for second and €500 for third.
- Half distance: €1.000 for the winner, €500 for second place and €250 for third place.
These awards will be given in both the male and female categories, reaffirming ICAN Triathlon's commitment to gender equality in sport.
- PRO start for Full and Half Distance: A special start will be implemented for elite triathletes and those who wish to compete against the best on the circuit. In addition, there will be 15 additional places for national and international triathletes selected by the ICAN technical management, along with two places for the first ten clubs classified in the 1st division of the Lliga de Clubs Caixa Popular TRICV.
- Early departure for Full and Aquabike LD:In order to ensure the comfort and safety of participants over the long distance, an early departure scheduled for 08:00 will be incorporated.
International participation and expectations for 2025
The 2024 edition of the ICAN Triathlon Gandía brought together triathletes from more than 18 countries and for 2025, even greater participation is expected.
