ICAN VALLADOLID a unique circuit

The next 07 of July of 2013, Valladolid will host the second recognized ICAN VALLADOLID medium distance circuit, with Half ICAN mode (1,9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21 km race to run) as in the so-called ICAN 52 (1,9 km swimming, 40 km of cycling and 10 km of athletics) in a test that has already become a reference at regional as well as national level.

ICAN VALLADOLID is presented as a different test, with a mythical swimming segment in the Pisuerga river and with a flat and technical cycling circuit through the immensity of the Castilian plateau and with a foot race throughout the center where the triathlete can enjoy some of the most emblematic buildings of the Vallisoletana capital that will have the start and finish in the impressive 'Millennium Dome', one of the capital's landmark buildings, which could already be seen at the Zaragoza Expo.

The cycling event will take place on the Castilian plateau, in an eminently flat and very fast circuit, passing through the Rueda designation of origin vineyards, being the star moment when it will cross the Plaza de Tordesillas, where a great expectation is expected, being a circuit of a single lap, which will have the honor of completing the race on foot throughout the center of the capital to finish at the 'Millennium Dome', thus taking advantage of the project launched by the Municipal Council, called 'Ríos de Luz ', and that has led Valladolid to be named as the "best illuminated city in the world"

For Sunil Bhardwaj organizer of the event "ICAN VALLADOLID is a unique opportunity to compete in a medium distance circuit for all those who want to debut or improve their brands, thanks to the design of their circuits.

The test has a unique setting, some spectacular places that the cycling segment will cover full of vineyards and its passage through the town of Tordesillas and that will be a single lap, placing the route of the race on foot entirely in the capital of Valladolid. The test is expected to start at 17.00:XNUMX p.m., which will avoid running in high temperatures while being able to enjoy the race on foot with the famous "rivers of light" of the Valladolid capital and the animation of all the spectators that each year they take to the streets so as not to miss this unique event in the capital "
