Registration for Challenge Barcelona 2024 opens today

The 2024 edition of the  Challenge Barcelona Triathlon which will be held on October 27, opens registration today, February 29, 2024.

The test will have various distances, as is usual in the tests of ChallengeFamily.

As a novelty, this year, the Challenge Barcelona will have the Short distance, offering for the first time 80 exclusive places for non-professional athletes.

This unique opportunity will allow federated triathletes compete with the professionals. Those interested must meet the triathlon federation requirements and adhere to the cut-off times and specific regulations for this distance.

In addition to the new Short distance, participants can register for the distances Olympic, Sprint, Aquathlon, and Junior Challenge, with special prices available from today until March 31.

Prices for the Olympic distance start at €84, gradually increasing to €94 in October.

Sprint participants start with a registration fee of €64, and for those looking for even shorter challenges, the Super Sprint and Aquathlon present affordable options starting at €49.

The test will also qualify for The Championship. The top three finishers in each age category in the Olympic distance will receive a slot for this prestigious event.

Barcelona, the host city, provides a spectacular backdrop for the event, with its unique blend of culture, art, and architecture.

Participants and their companions will be able to enjoy visits to emblematic places such as the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, and the vibrant Rambla, making their trip to Challenge Barcelona an unforgettable sports and tourist experience.
