Registrations open for the FETRI 2025 season
El calendar from Spanish Federation of Triathlon (FETRI) will reopen its doors by 2025.
This past Tuesday, January 7th, at 12:00 p.m., They activated the registrations for all the competitions of the year, available in live.triatlon.org.

From now on, triathletes of all levels can reserve their place in the various championships and events that will be held throughout Spain during the season.
Below you will find the most important aspects that you should know about each modality, as well as the dates and venues of FETRI 2025.
Winter Triathlon: Reinosa inaugurates the Spanish Championships
The first major national event will be coming soon. Spanish Winter Triathlon Championship will be held in Reinosa on February 2 2025. This is a special modality, where the tests take place in a winter environment, with running, cycling and cross-country skiing segments (depending on the weather).
After this exciting start, the focus will shift to the Duathlon qualifiers and the start of the National Duathlon League in La Nucía, very soon after, also in February. It will be an intense month for those looking to compete from the start of the season.
Duathlon: qualifiers and National League
Qualifiers for the Spanish Duathlon Championship
- February 9: Soria
- February 16: Águilas (coinciding with the Carnival Duathlon)
- March 2: Alcobendas
These tests will serve to earn a place in the Spanish Duathlon Championship, which will take place in Cáceres on the days And March 29 30.
Furthermore, the Winners will be announced in March The Spanish Middle Distance Duathlon Championship will be held in Graus, making its debut at this venue.
National League of Duathlon Clubs
- La Nucía (February 22 and 23): Spanish SuperSprint Duathlon Club Championships, SuperSprint 2×2 and Mixed Relays.
- Avilés (March 8 and 9): Spanish Duathlon Time Trial Team and Relay Championships (fourth and fifth days).
- Albacete (March 22 and 23): Spanish Club Duathlon Championships and SuperSprint Relay Couples (last league days).
The excitement will only grow as each weekend will decide key positions in the overall standings.
Spanish Cadet, Youth and Junior Duathlon Championship
The days will be celebrated 12 y 13 de abril in Ciudad Real, thus opening the opportunity for future stars of duathlon.
Triathlon: Olympic distances, sprints and national leagues
Spanish Triathlon Championships
- Olympic Distance: A Coruña will host the Spanish Championship on May 31 and June 1, with a qualifier pending confirmation.
- Sprint Distance: Águilas will host the 13 and September 14, and the qualifier will be held in Fuente Álamo on April 26.
Iberdrola League and National Triathlon Club League
- Roquetas de Mar (May 10 and 11): King's Cup, Iberdrola Queen's Cup and Spanish Relay Triathlon Championship.
- Torremolinos (June 7 and 8): Spanish Triathlon Championships: SuperSprint Club, SuperSprint 2×2 and Mixed Relay.
- Banyoles (June 12 and 13): Club Triathlon and SuperSprint Relay/Pairs.
Spanish Championship of Triathlon in School Age and Autonomies
It will be held in Merida on 5 & 6 of July, encouraging the participation of young triathletes from all over the country.
Medium and Long Distance: national and international appointments
The most demanding triathlon also has a place reserved:
- Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship: Return to Oropesa May 24, within the Epic Mediterranean Triathlon.
- MD Triathlon European Championship: Pamplona will host it on May 17.
- MD Triathlon National Championship 2025: Pending confirmation of dates and venue.
The National Middle and Long Distance Triathlon Ranking will offer multiple opportunities to score points between April and November, meaning each athlete will be able to choose different events to continue earning points.
Aquathlon, Cross Country and a new venue in Calahorra
The Spanish Aquathlon, Cros Duathlon and Cros Triathlon Championships They will open a new headquarters in the town of Calahorra (La Rioja) on the days 26 & 27 of July. It will be the great novelty for those looking for other disciplines beyond traditional formats.
Talent League: quarry in action
The 2025 National Talent Triathlon League will take place over six days spread across four venues:
- Avilés (March 8 and 9): Spanish Championships of Duathlon Time Trial Teams and Relays.
- Ciudad Real (April 13): Mixed Duathlon Relay, concluding the Duathlon part of the League.
- Roquetas de Mar (May 10 and 11): Triathlon Team Time Trial and Relay.
- Eagles (September 13): Spanish Triathlon Championship for Mixed Talent Relay.
This category encourages new generations, allowing them to compete and train with highly experienced clubs and coaches.
