IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia 2025: Registrations sold out six months before the event

The second edition of HOMBRE DE HIERRO 70.3 Valencia, which will be held on May 18, 2025, has sold out all its registrations six months in advance.

With 3.000 triathletes confirmed, the capital of the Turia is preparing to host competitors from all over the world in an event that promises to be one of the most exciting of next year.

International Participation on the Rise

In 2025, the IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia has taken a further step towards internationalization, with a 77% of athletes from abroad, exceeding the 60% from the previous edition.

This figure shows the appeal that Valencia has gained among international triathletes, who find in the city not only a first-class sporting challenge, but also an ideal environment to enjoy sport in all its dimensions.

IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia route: A spectacular challenge

The journey of IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia It is recognized for its beauty and its specific challenges at each stage.

The competition starts with 1.9 km of swimming in the calm waters of the Mediterranean, departing from the iconic Marina of ValenciaThis first stage offers an unrivalled landscape, with normally calm waters and optimal conditions for swimming.

Next, the athletes will have to face 90km in bike along a circuit that combines urban and rural sections, allowing participants to cross some of the most emblematic landscapes of the region. The bike route is varied, with a balance between speed and endurance.

Finally, the foot race, 21.1 km, develops throughout the old riverbed of the Turia, a green area that crosses the heart of the city and culminates in the iconic City of Arts and Sciences.

Qualification for the VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 Marbella World Championship

El IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia ofrece 60 qualifying slots for VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship 2025, which will be held in the city of Marbella.

This is the first time that the world championship has been held in Spain, which underlines the country's growing role in the calendar international triathlon.

Also, the Sapphire IRONMAN 70.3 Alcúdia-Mallorca has already sold the 70% of its registrations, being the only other event in Spain where athletes will be able to qualify for the world championship after the “sold out” in Valencia.
