IRONMAN Barcelona sells out all 3.200 bibs for the 2024 edition

The organization IRONMAN Calella-Barcelona announced this Saturday the complete sale of the 3.200 numbers available for the competition that will be held on October 6.

This event, which will not have its 70.3 version this year in Barcelona, promises to be one of the most notable events of the IRONMAN franchise in Spain.

Coinciding with the tenth edition of this legendary race, the circuit has been completely redesigned to offer a faster and less demanding experience in terms of gradient.

The total distance of the cycling segment will be 180 km, divided into two 90 km laps, with a cumulative positive gradient of 750 meters.

This new route extends its route from the city of Calella to the gates of Barcelona, returning to the vibrant city of Badalona and passing through coastal towns such as Teiá, Masnou, Vilassar de Mar, Mataró and Arenys de Mar, among others.

The city of Calella, which receives more than 6,000 people during the week of the event, is once again consolidated as the great icon of Long Distance in Spain.

This year, the IRONMAN Calella-Barcelona will not only stand out for its new circuit, but also for the return of the PRO triathletes to the starting line and a prize of 100.000 dollars, in addition to offering three slots for men and three for women for the IRONMAN World Championships 2025.

With extensive safety measures, including medical assistance and volunteers throughout the entire route, organizers ensure a safe and exciting experience for all participants.
