THE IRONMAN California of the Frodeno-Iden-Sanders Duel canceled

The organization IRONMAN California has confirmed the suspension of test ddue to bad weather conditions.

A few hours ago, it already decided to cut the cycling segment to only 90 kilometers, but seeing the advance of the storm and ensuring the safety of the athletes, the organization has decided not to hold the test.

“Weather conditions have deteriorated overnight and are expected to worsen over the course of the day.

We no longer believe that we can provide an acceptably safe swimming and cycling environment for our athletes.

We regret to inform you that the IRONMAN California 2020 triathlon cannot take place today on October 24, 2021.

The safety of athletes, volunteers and spectators is our highest priority. I would not be responsible for hosting the event at this time.

We recognize that change at this late juncture will come as a disappointment and we are working diligently to provide our athletes with more details and racing options.

We thank our athletes for their commitment and look forward to providing them with an exceptional running experience in the future.”
