IRONMAN Portugal - Cascais changes its cycling circuits

After the announcement made by the organization that the tests HOMBRE DE HIERRO and IRONMAN 70.3 Portugal – Cascais se will play the same day, yesterday they published the new cycling circuits of both tests.

highlights the elimination of the ascent to Peninha (The hardest part of the Sierra de Sintra) so the circuit will be much flatter and faster. In addition, it will no longer pass through the highway of Guincho .

In addition to this change the test will pass through Lisbon which will make triathletes enjoy a vtrue cultural walk, such as the icons of the Portuguese capital (Belém Tower, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos or the April 25 Bridge).

The cycling segment will continue to pass through the Estoril F1 Circuit and in the running race, it will run through  Guincho with the Atlantic as a backdrop.

Both tests will be held on October 15.
