The Ironman World Champion Frederik Van Lierde, and Marcel Zamora are the favorites for victory

The time has come. In the Tarragona town of Salou, the final details are already being worked on for 1.200 triathletes to take part in the first test of the Isostar Extreme Man medium distance circuit. Coming from 14 countries around the world, once again this year, the largest delegation is the French, which reaches one hundred.

With the planned departure to the 06: 45 hours of this Sunday, 11 of May, Isostar Extreme Man Salou will offer the triathletes a renewed version regarding 2013, with the new cycling circuit as the main attraction. TO a single turn, flat and closed to traffic, the sector will be definitive in the development of the competition, because it has all the conditions to reach vertigo speeds.

A priori, the main favorite is the international triathlete Marcel Zamora that with five consecutive victories in the Ironman of Nice and being quadruple champion of the EmbrunMan, arrives in Salou with the intention of taking the witness of  Frederik Van Lierde, current world champion, who won the 2013 victory.
