Víctor del Corral and Gurutze Frades winners of ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN Narbonne

The current Spanish Middle Distance champion, Gurutze Frades, and the great favorite, Victor del Corral, rise with the victory in the third event of the ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN season.

 

This Sunday, 8 September, the circuit ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN It has moved to French lands with the second edition of the Narbonne competition.

 

 

In the men's category, the start was made at the 7: 30 h in the morning, offering the audience an exciting start to the race. When arriving at the transition, the Catalan Santi Pellejero took advantage of his great performance in the swimming segment and managed to establish a considerable distance in front of his rivals. However, it was not until the cycling segment when the differences were marked.

 

In the 40 km, the big favorite in all the pools, Víctor del Corral, hunted until then head of career, his coach and rival in the French test, Pellejero. Later, the young Alberto Moreno also gave scope to Pellejero leaving the podium already fully sentenced.

 

Del Corral took advantage of his great potential by bike and, according to the predicted script, was the first to arrive at the T2 with an advantage of 3 minutes. This margin gave him the possibility to enjoy the race segment on foot and cross the finish line as the winner of the race. The second place on the podium was defined in the cycling sector, where Albert Moreno He knew how to show his great potential and state of form.

 

In the female category, Gurutze Frades He showed his talent in this distance and revalidated his victory in the French town. The Basque triathlete stood out in the swimming sector and kept that position for the rest of the race. With this result, Gurutze Frades adds his third consecutive victory in the ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN circuit, after climbing to the top of the podium in both Salou and Getxo.

 

The event closed with the celebration of the awards ceremony of this third event of the ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN circuit, which fully met all their expectations and signed a new sports day in which both participants and the public enjoyed.

 

After the dispute of this triathlon, ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN is already preparing for the last great challenge of the 2013 season, which will be the next 22 in Menorca in Menorca.
