Ivan Raña will participate in the Las Vegas 70.3 Ironman World Championship

My feelings for Las Vegas are good, always with an eye on Hawaii.

Next September 8 will be held in Las Vegas on Ironman 70.3 World Championship where the spanish Ivan Raña will try to be at the top in his first participation in the world.

Ivan to statements to Triathlon News, comments "My feelings for Las Vegas are good, always with an eye on Hawaii, I think running the 70.3 will be good for me to maintain contact with the competition and gain experience in these races."

Ivan has as his primary objective the Ironman World Championship to be held in Hawaii, on October 12 where another Spanish is also classified, Eneko Llanos. "Right now I'm finishing a good training block in which I gave more importance to being solid on the bike"says Raña.

Ivan got his classification for the Kona World Championship in the past Ironman of Zurich where I conclude in the 2ª position, which was enough to get the necessary points for their classification.

As for the strategy that will follow during the test Ivan gives us his vision " There will be good swimmers in this race. I bet for a small front group and behind another with people who can run to win as well.

The heat, which can be around 40º, will be decisive, and the circuit is not flat at all. Without becoming an Ironman it will be a race that leaves you touched when you finish."
