Jackie Hering wins IRONMAN Hamburg 2024

The test was the European Championship of the modality

The city of Hamburg hosted the IRONMAN 2024 European Women's Championship this weekend where victory went to Jackie Hering.

The American triathlete dominated the swimming and cycling segments, maintaining an impeccable strategy that led her to the final victory.

The first to come out of the water was Fenella Langridge, followed by julie iemmolo to 2 seconds and by Maja Stage Nielsen to 6 seconds. The first ten triathletes to complete the swim were very close, with differences of less than 1 minute.

In the 180 kilometer cycling segment,  Daniela Bleymehl, was the first to reach T2 followed by Maja Stage Nielsen to 5 seconds.

In third place was Jackie Hering at 1 minute and 8 seconds. The differences between the top ten remained minimal, keeping the competition open until the end.

In the 42.195 kilometer run, the situation changed drastically. In the middle of the segment, Jackie Hering She had already taken the lead, maintaining a constant pace and ahead of her competitors.

In the last section, Jackie Hering He consolidated his advantage, crossing the finish line in 8 hours, 19 minutes and 14 seconds.

The second classified was  Maja Stage Nielsen (8:21:54) and third Daniela Bleymehl (8: 28: 09).

Fourth place went to Fenella Langridge (8:29:36), while Els Visser He completed the top 5 with a time of 8:32:45.
