Jakob Ingebrigtsen breaks Norwegian record of 5.000 in complete discontent

He has succeeded in a competition with only 5 participants for security measures

The first athletic record has fallen in the midst of a European de-escalation of lack of confidence.

Norwegian Jakob Ingebrigtsen has lowered the Norwegian record of 5.000 meters by nine seconds by setting a time of 13.28 in the town of Stavanger, beating the time of Sondre Moem who held the record of 13:37.

According to EFE, the 19-year-old athlete made a race from less to more in Stavangen together with his brother Henrik, lowering the previous Norwegian national record but staying far away from the continent recordl, which is at 13:18 pm, achieved by Frenchman Jimmy Gressier last February in Monaco.

A race with 5 participants

The race held on Wednesday in Stavanger (Norway) only had five participants as a result of security measures due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The two Ingebrigtsen brothers plan to compete again, this time on the track, on June 11 in Oslo, where the middleweight of the saga, Filip, is also expected to have bronze in the 1.500 at the 2017 London World Championships, on a distance of 2.000 meters.
