Jan Frodeno Out of KONA and announces the end of his career
The German triathlete Jan Frodeno has confirmed on his social networks that he will not be able to be in the IRONMAN Hawaii of this year since will go through the operating room.
Jan suffered a few weeks ago bicycle accident which has forced him to have surgery.
The load carried out during this time has eworsened his injury and he will have to have surgery of the hip
2023 his last year
He has also announced that the year 2023 will be the last year that he will run as a professional .
"The injury has given me a break from what has been a very, very difficult few months and the opportunity to reset, reset and plan for what I think will be my last 14 months in this sport.
Now it's time to pause, reset and start again. "
