German Jan Frodeno third best German athlete in 2020

Frodeno was the winner of this title in 2015.

This past Sunday night, a gala was held in the Kurhaus Bénazet room in Baden-Baden where the best German athletes have been awarded.

Among the nominees was the German triathlete Jan Frodeno, Olympic champion in 2008 and three-time winner in IRONMAN Kona (2015, 2016 and 2019)

Leon draisaitl Professional ice hockey player won the award for the best German athlete with 1768 points. The second has been the launcher of javelin Johannes Vetter (649) and the triathlete Jan Frodeno (517) winner of this title in 2015.

In the German category, the award went to the long jumper Malaika Mihambo, winner also in 2019.
