Jaume Leyva, champion of Spain of half marathon 2012, and Claudia Galicia are imposed in the Andorra Duathlon

After two days of intense rains in the Pyrenees country, and a sharp drop in temperatures, the organization was forced to suspend the swimming segment in order to ensure the safety of all participants. In this way the Andorra Triathlon it became a duathlon Sprint and Olympic distance, where the hardness of the competition put all the participants to the test.

The distances to travel were 5,6km on foot, 36km of cycling, and 10km on foot in the Olympic distance and 2,6km, 18km, 5km in the Sprint category. The height of the Comella, in this way, would be the great protagonist of the day to have to be crowned by all participants.

It should be noted the great reaction of the organization and the facilities that the Government of Andorra put, so that all participants could enjoy the "multi-sport" offering an unbeatable duathlon.

As expected, due to this modification of the competition, Jaume Leyva, champion of Spain of Half Marathon in the 2012, it was outlined as the maximum favorite of the test. His partials in the race on foot decided a duathlon where Albert Parreño he was in second position and Xavi Llobet y Santi Pellejero they entered together in third position offering a podium of authentic level for all the lovers of this sport.

In the female category, Claudia Galicia He won for a few seconds Maite Arriaza who had been cutting time with a stratospheric foot race. The third classified was TGentleman.
