Javier Gómez Noya will compete in the XTERRA in Costa Rica

Javier Gómez Noya, the most successful Spanish triathlete in history, returns to competition this Saturday, August 24 at the XTERRA in Costa Rica.

Returns to the competition after having participated in the Escape from Alcatraz in San Francisco, where he finished in 16th position.

The Galician, who was already world champion of the modality in 2012, faces this modality again with a desire for victory.

The test circuit is made up of 1.500 meters of swimming, 21 km of MTB and 9 km of trail running, and will face high-level triathletes in this modality, such as Josiah Middaugh, Porter Middaugh, Dominic Wychera, Tiago maia o Rom Akerson, among others.

The XTERRA in Costa Rica will be good training for Gómez Noya, which plans to participate in the Ibiza test of the T100 at the end of September.
