Javier Gómez Noya will be in the half marathon of Madrid

This next Sunday the nineteenth edition of the race will be held in the capital

The Galician triathlete Javier Gómez Noya, has confirmed his participation and will be running through the streets of Madrid this Sunday that will return to compete after having done it last year where he finished in the eleventh position with a mark of 1: 07: 58.

El Movistar Half Marathon of Madrid, which is celebrated this Sunday, is already part of the world's elite racing route. 20.000 participants between the Movistar Half Marathon of Madrid and the charity race of 5km ProFuturo will take part in this great running event on Sunday from the 9AM. There will be a great team of professionals fighting for victory, with Spaniards Javi Guerra and Azucena Díaz among the favorites.

Other athletes who will participate in the test will be the Madrid Chema Martínez, sponsor of the test, and the incombustibles Abel Antón and Martín Fiz, marathon world champions and two of the most outstanding figures in national athletics. The former champion of the Tour de France will also attend the race Pedro Delgado, that will be the dorsal as one more participant to run the 21.097 meters of the Movistar Half Marathon of Madrid.

This edition, the nineteenth, releases the seal "IAAF Bronze Label"Which places it among the best road races in the world, and there will be a large roster of elite African and European runners willing to fight for victory and try to break records in both the men's and women's categories.

Among the novelties presented there will be several exits by waves, to facilitate that all the runners can start the competition in a more fluid way, and the new circuit of last year is maintained which is faster and more affordable than in previous editions.

The Movistar Half Marathon of Madrid can be seen live on the channel # Vamos de Movistar + from the 9 AM. The ProFuturo race has the exit to the 9h, the wheelchairs to the 9h22 and the half marathon to the 9h25.
