The ITU held a vote to determine the best photo of the year in ITU competitions. The two finalist photos were taken at the Dextro Energy competition in Sydney, where they won. Javier Gómez Noya and Paula Findlay.
The photo of Noya was imposed only by a scant 1,8% to Findlay.
