Javier Gómez Noya wins his first Sprint triathlon at 2019

Has won the victory at the Marra Triathlon in New Zealand

Javier Gómez Noya, who is currently training in Tauranga (New Zealand) has participated today in a triathlon where he has achieved his first sprint distance win this 2019. It has been like training before participating in the World Cup of New Plymouth at the end of the month.

Javier Gómez Noya has achieved victory in a time of 53:54, completing the 750 meters of swimming in 8:25, the 20 kilometers of cycling in 26:51 and the 5 kilometers of running in 17:04. Has achieved almost 1 minute of advantage over the second classified Dylan McCullogh and 3 on the third classified Malcom King.

 The young McCullogh has achieved this year the victory in the OTU Oceania Cup and was gold in the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires in 2018, both in the Junior category.

With this victory it is clear that he is taking seriously his return to the WTS, where he will participate in the WC of New Plymouth before returning to the World Series in Bermuda to be played over Olympic distance,

Noya has achieved this year's victory in the IM 70.3 by Geelong  last February 16, where I got the pass for the IRONMAN World Championship 70.3 of the month of September
