Javier Gómez Noya and Judith Corachán favorites for the Spanish Medium Distance Triathlon Championship
The Bilbao Triathlon will have the best level in recent years.
This next Saturday, September 26, it will be played at the Bilbao Triathlon el Championship of Spain of Average Distance with a great level.
The star of the test will be Javier Gómez Noya that starts as the great favorite, in the female category the favorite is Judith Corachán
The test, which will feature a strong security protocol and it will be shielded to the public at the finish line and consists of 1.900 meters of swimming in the Ría de Bilbao, 82,5 km of cycling with the climb to the Morga peak and 21km of running divided into 3 laps of 7 km each.
The favorites
As for the favorites, in the male category the Galician Javier Gómez Noya is that he takes all the bets, after his victories in the French Grand Prix and in the City of Santander Triathlon. Noya comes to this test in good shape.

Other triathletes to keep in mind will be Gustavo Rodríguez, Jose Andujar, Cesc Godoy , Albert Moreno, Cristóbal Dios o Pello Osoro among others, although the latter is still doubtful due to injury.
In the female category, the favorite is Judith Corachán, although it will be necessary to take into account Gurutze Frades, Eva Valero o Anneke Jenkins among others.

This year with the contribution of € 15.000 that the PTO has made to the test, the Bilbao Triathlon will offer the following € 21.000 in prizes to professionals

Schedule
The Bilbao Triathlon will start at 13:30 p.m. with the elite men's event and 5 minutes later the elite women's category will do so under the "rolling-start" format.
The arrival of the first participants at the finish line is expected around 17:00 p.m.
