Noya has designed a calendar to compete in Europe

The Galician triathlete Javier Gómez Noya He is already thinking of returning to competition and has chosen to compete in Europe now that the state of alarm in Spain is ending and the opening of borders with the rest of the continent.

With the games postponed to 2021, the IRONMAN World Championship postponed to February, Noya has designed a calendar to compete in Europe fighting for titles Europeans in Olympic distance in Tartu (Estonia) on August 30 and IRONMAN 70.3 in Elsinor (Denmark) on September 6.

It is also pending that other large tests clarify if they are canceled in this 2020 or if they set an alternative date in the summer or in the fall.

Focused on the Games, it will leave the IRONMAN aside

In the newspaper La Voz de Galicia, Noya commented:

"Raising both tests [Tokyo and IRONMAN World Cup] at the highest level is very complicated.

I want to focus on the Games. I want to bet on the long distance because I feel like it, but now I only think about Tokyo, ”advanced the Ferrolan a few days ago, who was already silver in London 2012 and fourth in Beijing 2008"
