Javier Gómez Noya and the Mola brothers, champions in the Super League Triathlon Mallorca

The Spanish were the fastest triathletes on the circuit in the Amateur test over the weekend.

Javier Gómez Noya, five-time triathlon world champion, and  Mario Mola, three times world champion of the same specialty, together with Luca Mola, were the fastest triathletes on the circuit in the Amateur test during the weekend.

The Spaniards competed with the best triathletes in the world, like the Australian Chris McCormack, world champion of Iroman, and the winner of the gold medals in the Olympic Games in London and Rio de Janeiro, the British Alistair Brownie

Of the three segments of competition in the Super League, Gómez Noya made the swimming test, Mario Mola took charge of the stretch on foot and his brother Lucas, faced the very tough swimming test.

The big winners of the Super League Mallorca were the French Vincent Luis in the male and the American category Taylor Spives in the female category, which were awarded the 20.000 euros in prizes fixed by the organizers of the event.

Luis, winner of two medals in the Triathlon World Championship, silver in 2018 and bronze in 2015, and four medals in the Mixed Relay Triathlon World Championship between 2012 and 2018 years, leads the classification of the Super League series after the tests held in Jersey and Malta.

In the women's category, the American world leader Katie Zaferes, bronze and silver in the Triathlon World Championships in 2017 and 2018, and winner of two medals in the Triathlon World Championship, silver in 2018 and bronze in the 2017.
