Javier Guillot, best national judge 2011

Guillot together with José Ismael Paya have been the promoters of this discipline in Melilla and founders of the Melilla Triathlon Federation, where a dozen events have been held, making Melilla a buzz.

On January 2011, the Committee of Judges and Officials of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, choosing among the candidatures received from the nineteen Autonomous Federations of the Spanish territory, decided to name Javier Guillot Rodríguez from Melilla as Best Spanish Triathlon Official Season XNUMX.

The Committee of Judges and Officials of the Spanish Triathlon Federation has awarded the distinction of Best Official Season 2011, for his great contribution to the group of officials in training, work and dedication; their camaraderie and solidarity with officials and organizers; and his commitment to our sport before all levels, as well as leading and promoting Triathlon as a developing sport in the Autonomous City of Melilla.

The distinction was personally communicated by Jorge García Martínez, President of the Technical Committee, Technical Delegates and Officials of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, emphasizing that this recognition “is for the visible head of the group in Melilla, for the work carried out in such a short space of time. time, being the living mirror of the sporting development that this sport needs.”

These distinctions will be awarded at the annual Gala of the Spanish Triathlon Federation in the middle of February in the capital of Spain.

With this award, the Spanish Committee of Officials and Judges values ​​the work that Javier Guillot is doing with the young officials and judges from Melilla, which led him to be present last May as a judge of the ITU Dextro Series Triathlon World Cup Energy, held in Madrid.
