swimmer Jimena Perez, of the Madrid club Gredos San Diego, has beaten the Spanish record in the 5.000 meters in the Spanish long distance championships that have been held this weekend in the swimming pool of the CAR of Sant Cugat.

Jimena completed the distance in a 55 time: 34.81, reducing in almost five seconds the record that had Mireia Belmonte (55: 39.23) since 2017.
