JJ.Alejandro Blanco and Marisol Casado participate this Tuesday in the inauguration of a Course at the UAM in Madrid

President Spanish Olympic Committee (COE), Alejandro Blanco, and the president of the Federation International Triathlon (ITU), Marisol Married, only Spanish, International member of the IOC, will participate this Tuesday, November 15, starting at 10.00:XNUMX a.m., in the inaugural conference of the 'Course-XLIV Session of the Spanish Olympic Academy'of the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM).

 

In the inaugural session, which will take place in the auditorium of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, on the Cantoblanco Campus, the rector of the UAM, José María Sanz; the president of the Spanish Olympic Academy, Conrado Durántez; the dean of the Faculty, Rosalía Aranda, and María Eugenia Martinez Gorroño, director of the Olympic Studies Center of the UAM.

Under the title 'My experience in the International Olympic Committee', Marisol Casado will explain in the opening presentation of the course, from November 15 to 18, her work in the highest international Olympic body, in which there are only two other Spanish representatives, Juan Antonio Samaranch Salisachs and José Perurena, president of the International Canoeing Federation.

The UAM has been selected by the Spanish Olympic Academy to be the representative University of all Spanish universities at the annual International Meeting of University Students, which will take place in June 2012 in Olympia (Greece).
