Laura Gómez and Joan Reixach win the Spanish Long Distance Cup in Ibiza

On September 29, 2024, the Spanish Long Distance (LD) and Medium Distance (MD) Cup was held in Ibiza, within the framework of the T100 Ibiza.

The test, which brought together the best triathletes in the country, made clear the dominance of the team Penota Dental Alusigma, with victories in both the men's and women's categories.

Men's Category: Joan Reixach sets the pace from the start

Since the start of the men's event, Joan Reixac showed his superiority in the water.

Reixach arrived at T2 with a comfortable lead of around 7 minutes over the chasing group and in the 21 kilometres of the race he maintained his advantage to win the race.

Second was his teammate Diego Mentrida almost 4 minutes and  Pello Osoro, after an exciting sprint with Rojas.

Women's Category: Laura Gomez dominates alone
