Jonas Deichmann breaks the record for consecutive Ironmans

Jonas Deichmann, A German athlete has set a new world record by complete 106 consecutive Ironman distance races, beating James Lawrence, the “Iron Cowboy,” and Sean Conway, who previously held the title.

Deichmann completed his 106th day in the famous Challenge Roth circuit, and He has no plans to stop until he reaches 120 days doing an Ironman.

"🌟 WORLD RECORD! 🌟 Today I finished my 106th consecutive long distance triathlon at @challengeroth. For 106 days, I completed an Ironman distance triathlon every day. With this, I am the only world record holder.”

But Deichmann doesn't stop there. “But with this, my project is not over. I will be at the starting line for 14 more days to complete #challenge120"He added.

Deichmann began his journey on May 9 and plans to complete it on September 9.

Deichmann already holds several cycling world records, including the fastest crossing of Eurasia (setting a new record for crossing Europe at the same time).

It has also traveled unsupported from Alaska to Argentina in 97 days and from North Cape, Norway, to Cape Town, South Africa, in 72 days, seven hours and 27 minutes, surpassing the previous record by 30 days.

He broke Conway's record for the longest triathlon thanks to a 429-day trip around the world that was equivalent to 120 long-distance triathlons: 456 km of swimming, 21 km of cycling and 600 km of running.
