A legendary test: Ultraman Hawaii 2024

The competition in Hawaii is considered one of the most demanding events on the international scene.

In its 2024 edition, extreme conditions were once again the main attraction. The event began last Friday with a 10-kilometer swim in Keauhou Bay, where triathletes had to face strong currents that made the initial segment especially challenging.

The second day was the turn of the 276 kilometres of cycling, which took place on a route full of climbs and descents, accumulating a positive gradient of more than 4.000 metres.

Headwinds along the route tested the mental strength of the participants.

Finally, on Sunday, the most feared stage took place: a double marathon of 84 kilometers, with a route that took the athletes from Hawaii to Kailua Kona under a scorching sun.
