Kevin Tarek Aquathlon World Champion

The Aquathlon World Championship in Townsville, Australia, was held yesterday with a Spanish victory.

Kevin Tarek, meeting all the predictions, won gold, thus completing the triple crown of the Aquathlon in 2024. For its part, Cristian Fernandez, rose to third place on the podium.

The test, held under the format of 2500 m run – 1000 m swim – 2500 m run, kept the spectators in suspense until the last moment.

In the first running segment, a group of nine athletes, including Tarek and Fernández, remained compact. However, it was in the water where the Spanish made the difference, leaving with a considerable advantage.
