Kienle and Hauschildt win the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in the rain.

Only 22 days a year it rains on las vegas, but last Sunday was one of them.

Temperatures higher than 40º were expected, but the rain left ideal temperatures for the practice of triathlon.

 

 

In the men's category, he proclaimed himself champion by revalidating his title obtained in 2012,  Sebastian Kienle with a final goal time of 3: 54: 02, followed by New Zealander Terenzo Bozzone a little more than 2 minutes and in third position the Australian Joe Gambles with a time of 3: 56: 55

The only participant in the PRO category Ivan Raña I finish in 14ª position, but in the 15ª of the general, with a final goal time of 4: 03: 00. Ivan has as his next goal the Ironman World Championship in Kona.

We must highlight the victory in age groups for Toni Colom that with a time of 4: 01: 33 and with the best partial bike ending in 14º position of the general

In the female category the Australian Melissa Hauschildt with a time of 4: 20: 07 prevailed with clarity with almost 5 minutes of advantage on the American Heather Jackson and his compatriot Annabel Luxfor with a final time of 4: 25: 19
