Kitzbühel, the reunion between Noya and the Brownlee

The next Saturday 6 of July returns the Triathlon World Series with a spectacular test, Kitzbühel where the Olympic medalists in London will meet again: the brothers Alistair y Jonathan Brownlee y Javier Gómez Noya. It will also try to be at the top Mario Mola.

Kitzbühel is not just another date, but it is one of the toughest and most spectacular events of the circuit. Located in the Austrian Alps, the hardness of this test will undoubtedly make us enjoy a show with bike climbs up to 22%. Kitzbühel will host the European Championship de triathlon for the 2014

Also the distances of this triathlon are not the usual, they have had to be cut due to the hardness of the test, the triathletes will swim 750 meters in Lake Schwarzsee, and then on the bicycle, cover 11,5 very hard kilometers in which they save almost 900 elevation meters. But this is not all, in the foot race where it is usual to see them travel 10 km, this time they will have to do 2,5 kilometers where the triathletes will have to face a altitude of 136 meters.

Gómez Noya which leads the classification of the World Series after the Madrid dispute, has spent almost three weeks concentrated in the Cabeza de Manzaneda station (Ourense) in order to prepare your summer goals.

The rest of the Spanish representation is formed by Jesús Gomar and Oscar Vicente.
