Although the Norwegian is coming off a demanding Olympic cycle, his determination to conquer the middle distance is not resting. In fact, starting in Oceanside could be key to his objectives in the IRONMAN Pro Series.

His motivation after the last Olympic cycle

At 31 years old, the Scandinavian is not closing the door on possible future forays into the Olympic distance.

In a interview In a recent interview, he said that “with the feeling that remained after Paris and thinking that I am not too old yet, I want to show that it is possible to return from the Ironman.” Apparently, the ambition to shine again at the Games is not ruled out.
