Kristian Blummenfelt wins at the PTO Asia Open

Kristian Blummenfelt has won the PTO Asian Open, taking his first win at a PTO Circuit event.

After finishing 9th in the Olympic Test in Paris, Blummenfelt flew 13 hours to Singapore and prevailed in the competition.

In a stunning performance that left everyone in awe, Kristian Blummenfelt achieved a clear victory in the test,

The competition, which was held in Singapore, saw Blummenfelt overcome strong competitors such as Pieter Heemeryck y Jason West.

In swimming, he started just 15 seconds behind the leader Aaron Royle, maintaining a strong position.

During the 80 km of cycling, he allowed Heemeryck to take the lead, but his strategy in the foot race was impeccable. he surpassed Heemeryck at km 10 and secured his victory with a time of 03:20:48.

The second classified was Pieter Heemeryck followed by Jason West, which completed the podium.

What makes this victory even more remarkable is the fact that Blummenfelt he had just competed in the Olympic Test in Paris.

With a 13-hour flight to Singapore and intense preparation, his focus was clear: winning in Singapore was the priority.

major withdrawals

During the PTO Asian Open, several triathletes withdrew.

Gustav Iden, the Norwegian triathlete suffered a setback in the first transition, falling 30 seconds behind the leaders. Later, during the bike segment, he suffered a fall that forced him to retire from the race. His withdrawal was a surprise, since he was one of the favorites of the day.
