The Legend of Tartessos, MTB race Huelva 2024: A Cycling Challenge in the Heart of Andalusia

Courses

List of Stages
Stage 1 – Valverde Minera:
- Route: 63 km and 1800 m of positive gradient.
- Start and Finish: Valverde del Camino.
- Features: Tracks with steep slopes, technical trails, and challenging climbs such as 'El Angliru' and 'Las Abejas'.
Stage 2 – Border Stage:
- Route: 80 km and 2000 m of positive gradient.
- Start and Finish: El Granado.
- Features: Tour along the natural border of the Guadiana River, climb to the Castillo de San Marcos, and trails such as 'La Enfermería' and 'Charco del Lobo'.
Stage 3 – Stage of Light:
- Route: 70 km and 700 m of positive gradient.
- Start and finish: Muelle del Tinto (Huelva).
- Features: Passage over the 'Santa Eulalia' siphon bridge, tour of the Marismas del Odiel natural area, and trails in the pine forests of Aljaraque, Gibraleón, Punta Umbría and Cartaya.
Stage 4 – Cartaya and its Pinar de Arriba:
- Route: 45 km and 500 m of positive gradient.
- Departure and Finish: Cartaya.
- Features: Short stage with enduros from Cartaya, Arroyo Gordo, Las Madamas, and up and down terrain.
The Final Stage: Cartaya and its Pinar de Arriba
The final stage, known as the BH Stage, is a true testament to the beauty and challenge of mountain biking.
With a route of 45 km and a positive gradient of 500 m, this stage begins and ends in Cartaya, taking cyclists through impressive landscapes and demanding terrain.
