All eyes are on Daniela Ryf, current Ironman World Champion, as she is looking to achieve the best world record in the distance, which is currently held by Chrissie Wellington with a time of 8:18:13. But it will not be easy since the three-time winner of the test will be on the starting line Yvonne Van Vlerken (2008, 2008,2015),  Heather Wurtele 3 times Ironman 70.3 World Champion Laura Siddall winner of Ironman Australia and second this season at Ironman New Zeland and Challenge Wanaka.
