The Pearce brothers with 82 years a great example of overcoming in the world of triathlon

Keith Pearce “He's a local legend, the guys from his triathlon club call him Kahuna (“ Big Boss ”)

The Australian Keith Pearce 82 years is an example of constant improvement, with several world titles behind him began in the triathlon to the 50 years and has no intention of leaving it, Keith has suffered stomach cancer and last year a fracture in an accident, but this year will return to the competition in a Super Sprint triathlon.

He has achieved 3 world titles, in addition to several victories in the WTS Grand Final. The last one was in Cozumel 2016, you can check your winners in this link

In 2010, he had to face a new challenge, a stomach cancer, where they extracted 3 quarts of it to cure him and only a month after the operation he ran again and according to him without any discomfort.

Last year 2018, Keith suffered an accident in a competition where he fractured a rib. Now recovered, he will begin his season competing in the Super Sprint triathlon in his city, Forster (Australia) on March 30.

Keith has a training partner, his twin brother Frank Pearce  who has also got 2 bronze medals in World Championships. A great example of overcoming
