Alex Yee's times at the Leeds WTS

Yesterday we lived a spectacular test in the second appointment of the Triathlon World Series which were held in the city of Leeds.

In the men's event, which was played on Olympic distance, the British Alex Yee he won the victory with a time of 1:43:27 giving a recital in the running segment and getting his first victory in the WTS:

In the test Fernando Alarza it was fourth and Antonio Serrat eighth

The test was contested on a format of 1.500 meters of swimming, 40 km of cycling and 10 of running.

These are the times of the Briton

  • Swimming: 17:57, pace 1:12 100 /,
  • Cycling: 54:24, average 44,12 km / h
  • Race on foot: 29:46, pace 2:58 min / km

Fall of Noya

In the test our champion Javier Gómez Noya had a fall with the bicycle that forced him to retire in the first lap of the cycling segment

Alistair disqualified

The British triathlete Alistair Brownlee was disqualified from the test for unsportsmanlike behavior in the swimming segment since he made a squirt to another competitor

Rule out going to games

The British seems to be ruled out of the games as he will have to  go through the operating room
