Lucy Charles and Jelle Geens: Contract for 2025 with the T100

Lucy Charles-Barclay has been confirmed as one of the last athletes signed for the 2025 season of the T100 Triathlon World Tour.

The Briton, who finished second in Miami and Singapore in 2024, was forced to withdraw in London due to an injury that hampered the final stretch of her year. She was unable to compete again for the entire season, raising many questions about her fitness.

In recent statements, the champion of HOMBRE DE HIERRO World Championship 2023 explained that, although it was painful to end the campaign early, this break has allowed him to recharge his batteries and refocus his goals for 2025.

"I started the T100 very well with my results in Miami and Singapore. It was a hard blow to have to stop in London, but I have learned and I am back with a lot of enthusiasm.", said the triathlete.

On the other hand, the Belgian Jelle Geens, winner at Lake Las Vegas T100 and reigning 70.3 IRONMAN 2024 World Champion, has also been announced as one of the men who will enjoy a contract throughout the next edition of the series.

Geens made history in Las Vegas by beating the men's T100 champion, Marten Van Riel, who up to that point had not been defeated in the season.

The Belgian said his main goal is to compete head-to-head with Van Riel at each event and test his preparation in the 100km format. As he himself said, the level of the men's category promises intense moments, as this year there are outstanding athletes who are looking to win in each race.
