Madrid, home of the Grand Final of the Triathlon European Cup

The capital of Madrid will receive the best European triathletes in the male and female elite category for the competition of a high level international competition.

At the end of September, Madrid will become the epicenter of triathlon with the celebration of the next September 21 of the Grand Final of the European Cup ETU Triathlon.

An appointment that will be decisive to settle the winner of the ETU 2014 ranking, due to the double value of the points awarded by the competition as it is the continental Grand Final. One more year, the Madrid lung of the Casa de Campo will be the nerve center of this exciting weekend. A venue with an important imprint in the field of triathlon, recognized for its circuits, among which the arduous and technical cycling segment stands out.

All this thought to offer the best competition, at the same time that greatest show possible in Madrid's capital. In turn, during the day of Saturday there will also be an international paratriathlon competition, framed in the 2014 Madrid ITU World Paratriathlon Event.

Previously, the day of Saturday 20 of September will be dedicated to popular tests, both for federated and non-federated triathletes. Throughout this Saturday will be held competitions designed for all levels in Olympic distance, sprint, supersprint or relay in both male and female category. In addition, on this occasion, we will also have the celebration of the Women's Triathlon.

The event is organized by the City Council of Madrid and the Spanish Triathlon Federation and has the collaboration of the Community of Madrid and the Madrid Triathlon Federation.
