Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon and ROUVY join forces and announce a virtual competition

The Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon, the long-awaited long distance triathlon which will be held for the first time in Playa de Muro on September 25 next year, and the Rouvy team join forces to add the cycling segment of this Balearic event to this novel indoor cycling digital platform.

Rouvy also becomes the new digital partner of the race and the online training platform for the participants.

The Mallorca cycling segment is a 90 or 180 kilometer route with a positive drop of 357m that runs through some of the most beautiful and traditional Mallorcan towns such as Muro, Santa Margalida, María de la Salut, Sineu, Llubi, Sa Pobla, Alcùdia ...

This cycling route is available to all Rouvy users on your platform for free.

 Return to the essence of the triathlon of yesteryear

The agreement begins with the creation of the MALLORCA 140.6 TRIATHLON CHALLENGE in ROUVY, which will make it possible to publicize the cycling route of the event and the beauty of the Balearic Islands.

Participants will enter a draw

All the 'finishers' of the virtual challenge who manage to complete the 90km of route in the "time-trial" mode within the Rouvy platform from today until December 6 will participate in the draw for:

• 2 Registrations and accommodation for 3 nights in a double room.
•  2 Registrations at distance 140.6 (long distance).
•  2 Registrations for the Half 140.6 distance

The test on September 25

The Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon, which will celebrate its inaugural edition on September 25, 2021 with start and finish in Playa de Muro, takes its name from the total sum of its route in miles equivalent to 226 kilometers.

Parallel to this long distance, it will be possible to participate in the Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon Half, just halfway through 1.900 meters of swimming, 90 km of cycling and 21 km of running.

Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon is organized by Kumulus and has the support of the Ajuntament de Muro and the Hotel Association of Playa de Muro, Tourism of the Balearic Islands, the Fundació Mallorca Turisme and the Federació de Triatló de les Illes Balears.
