Marbella, the only Spanish venue for the 2025 IRONMAN PRO SERIES
The venues for the event were announced yesterday. IRONMAN PRO SERIES calendar for 2025, highlighting Marbella as the only event that will be held in Spain, leaving out the competitions in Mallorca and Vitoria this year.
Marbella has been hosting IRONMAN events since 2018, starting with the IRONMAN 70.3, which will celebrate its sixth edition in October. In addition, next year, the city will host the IRONMAN World Championship 70.3, which reaffirms Marbella's ability to host high-calibre competitions and attract the best triathletes in the world.
Along with Marbella, other venues that have joined the IRONMAN PRO SERIES circuit are: the IRONMAN 70.3 in Geelong, Australia, the IRONMAN South Africa, Venice-Jesolo in Italy, Aix en Provence in France and Eagleman in the U.S., expanding opportunities for triathletes to compete globally.
$6 Million in Prizes on the IRONMAN Circuit
The IRONMAN Professional Circuit will receive a significant financial boost, with a cumulative budget reaching $6 million.
Of this amount, 1,7 million will be allocated to a special bonus for triathletes who qualify in the general classification of the IRONMAN PRO SERIES.
